The Special Events and Promotions Class plans the Lux Mea Film Festival under the supervision of Professor Bandy. The class is split up into six teams, where they work to create an unforgettable experience.

Communications
The Comm Team updates the website, acquires awards for the winners, acquires and coordinates with sponsors and admissions, manages ticket sales and runs the social media accounts. Their goal is to make sure that people are informed about Lux Mea Film Festival.

Design
The Design Team determines the aesthetic of the film festival. The Design Team designs award certificates, banners and posters, animations, seating signage, the class photo book, team t-shirts, the program, and the emcee call poster.

Photography
The Photography Team photographs the class working, and the event itself. The Photography Team also organizes and edits the photos, preps them for social media and the website. For the night of the film festival, they organize volunteers and plan a photobooth. Their goal is to capture both the small details and the big moments.

Videography
The Video Team creates video content for the film festival, including the comm arts video, the film recap video, 2027 trailer, intro and festival recap video.

Program
The Program Team writes, directs, and edits the emcee intro video and event script. They also design and execute the layout and décor of the Crawford Auditorium. They organize volunteers and ushers, communicate with filmmakers and college staff. They also oversee all technology of the event, develop program order and seating layout, plan the event schedule.
